Spa safety takes a little common sense and paying attention to your surroundings. If you feel uncomfortable at all with your current spa, leave. Trust your instincts, they're usually right.

Don't take valuables, jewelry, extra cash or similar items with you to your spa visit, leave them home or even secured in your car trunk or glove box. Some spas may have a lock box or locker for customer use, ask your attendant when making the appointment. Most spas do not cover personal effects or valuables.
